Project Highlight
ChemoWave
APP
ChemoWave is a Southern California startup that launched an app for cancer patients to track symptoms, medications & activities. Client wanted to rebrand their logo and have consistent design throughout their app and social platforms. I was on a retainer as their design & creative consultant.
NEW LOGO
OLD LOGO
The rebrand was inspired by the healthy Southern California lifestyle, with two main elements of inspiration: the sun, symbolizing new beginnings and cherishing each day as a gift, and the waves of SoCal beaches, representing the importance of movement for a healthy lifestyle. While gradient features from the old logo were retained, the mark's shapes can also be used in a solid color context.
The client sought to introduce a merchandise piece alongside the rebrand launch. I proposed a Long Sleeve Tee Shirt with a meaningful purpose – to offer support to those battling cancer. We designed a shirt where your support network can write messages of encouragement. This way, when individuals undergo cancer treatments, they can glance at the messages on the shirt sleeves to find encouragement and support.
Additionally, the client tasked us with directing and producing a commercial to run as an ad for the launch of their new features alongside the rebrand. The commercial was directed and produced by Roman Bozhko, edited by Roman Bozhko, and videography was handled by Hunter Lyon.
